DESIGN DRAFTSPERSON


LIDCO seeks to appoint a design drafter due to its growing business opportunities. This is a hands-on role and will involve supervision as well as design and detail drafting at the head office located in Alexandria.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Assist in the development of new and standard product systems,
• Complete design work necessary for product development, improvement as well as customised systems, and
• Respond to customer, architectural and consultant enquiries as well as servicing our national sales team.

The following attributes/skills are essential:

• Minimum 3 years design drafting experience in the window, door and façade industry.
• Sound product knowledge and understanding of the relevant Australian Standards.
• A TAFE or equivalent certificate in drafting.
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Inventor and associated software.
• Proven ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage concurrent projects as well as mentor staff.
