Lifestyle™ Sliding/Stacking Door - 130 System
The Lifestyle™ Sliding/Stacking Door is ideal for residential housing of any construction, including double brick, brick veneer or timber. The sliding door is also suited for low rise apartments while the stacking door is suitable for higher rise apartments due to its high performance sill. Large opening sizes are possible with heights up to 2.4m. A wide range of glass types provide excellent noise dampening characteristics as well as energy and thermal efficiency.
FEATURES:
- Single glazing options range from 4mm to 10.38mm
- Designed to accept double glazing using 14mm and 18mm IGU’s without the need to add unsightly glazing adaptors
- Option to have insect or safety screen in its own dedicated sliding track
- Sliding sash is designed to be installed from the inside offering greater security – sash can be removed from the inside for cleaning and maintenance
- The fixed/slide combination is housed in a 100mm frame and can be coupled with Lidco’s extensive range of fixed framing and window systems – for example, sidelights consisting of adjustable glass louvres or highlights made of awning windows are easily possible
- A range of heavy duty interlocks are available for high wind areas
- Should it be required, reversing the handing of the sliding door can be achieved with a minimum of on-site adjustment necessary
- Low sill option is available for wheel-chair access and suitable only in areas that are not exposed to the weather
- Subhead and subsill options are available
- The stacking door option is housed in a 180mm frame complete with screen track adaptors
- The sill incorporates drainage baffles and full perimeter frame seals
- Foam gaskets in each corner of the frame prevent water entry and sashes are double sealed to keep moisture, dust and air outside
- A range of high quality adjustable whisper quiet single and multi-wheel rollers are supplied capable of carrying sash weights up to 150kgs
- Standard commercially available door handles can easily be surface mounted to the door stile – option to fit a mortice lock is also possible by using the wide stile option
