Thermaview Sliding Window - 422 System

Lidco's Thermaview™ Sliding Window provides the perfect choice where a high performance window is an important requirement in the building's design.

Climatic and acoustic controls are major influences in the design due to the ability of the sash members to accommodate a large range of glass types including double glazed.

The sliding window sash system incorporates single sliding arrangements.

Developed to meet current architectural trends of installing performance glazing to buildings, the Thermaview™ Sliding Window is engineered to withstand the most hostile of conditions and is ideal for high wind load and multi storey applications.

The system utilises the latest in sliding window design principles and is available in fixed slide and multi panel configurations. Sash members accommodate 4mm-10.38mm single glazing and 14mm-18mm double glazing without the use of adaptors. Close attention has been given to strengthening of frame and sash components in line with the increased weights associated with performance glazing.

SPECIFICATION TEXT:

• Aluminium frames to be manufactured using Lidco 422 System: Thermaview™ Single and Multi Sliding Window
• Selected framing to be engineered, manufactured and installed in accordance with:
  AS 2047-2048 (windows in buildings)
  AS/NZS 1170 (loading code)
  AS/NZS 1664 (aluminium structures code)
• Selected glazing to be in line with performance requirements as set out in AS 1288 (glass in buildings)
• Size limitations are governed by design intent, glass selection and local wind load and deflection requirements. For further technical assistance and fabricator selection contact your local Lidco sales office. An engineer should be consulted to ensure selected framing meets the requirements as set out in the relevant Australian standards
