Pinnacle Double Hung Window - 748 System

Lidco's Pinnacle Double Hung Window is the perfect choice of window where ventilation options are an important requirement in the building's design together with maximum weather performance.

Climatic and acoustic controls are major influences in the design due to the ability of the sash members to accommodate a large range of glass types including double glazing.

The system accepts double glazing making it the perfect choice of window where various performance glazing options are required.

Developed to meet current architectural trends of installing performance glazing to buildings, the Pinnacle Double Hung Window is suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

The system utilises the latest in double hung design principles. The window can couple with Lidco shopfront systems. Sash members accommodate 4mm-10.38mm single glazed and 14mm-18mm double glazed without the use of adaptors. Close attention has been given to strengthening of frame and sash components in line with the increased weights associated with performance glazing.

SPECIFICATION TEXT:

• Aluminium frames to be manufactured using Lidco 748 System: Pinnacle Double Hung Window
• Selected framing to be engineered, manufactured and installed in accordance with:
  AS 2047-2048 (windows in buildings)
  AS/NZS 1170 (loading code)
  AS/NZS 1664 (aluminium structures code)
• Selected glazing to be in line with performance requirements as set out in AS 1288 (glass in buildings)
• Size limitations are governed by design intent, glass selection and local wind load and deflection requirements. For further technical assistance and fabricator selection contact your local Lidco sales office. An engineer should be consulted to ensure selected framing meets the requirements as set out in the relevant Australian standards
